       I had the pleasure of working with this talented songstress while enjoying my famous Jambalaya! An independent recording artist and songwriter of Chinese and African American heritage. Ms. Carter's music (much like my jambalaya) is a mixture of Soul, Funk, and R&B; a style that puts you in the mindset of Sade meets Janelle Monet or Corrine Bailey Rae meets Bjork. While staying true to her middle name which is Wei-Tsung which means "Inner wisdom". It's no coincidence that she enjoys writing/arranging her songs with meaningful messages at their core. Danielle is not afraid to explore dark musical corners, climb mystical ladders, or playfully exposing the humor in everyday life. She has resided in Hong Kong, Beijing and Nigeria and is now touring and performing internationally!
